Testing Non-Square Differential Correction

Postby shughes » Tue Jun 16, 2009 4:52 pm

Non-square differential correction is when you have differing numbers of variables and goals. We need to test several different combinations of goals types and variables types for the cases when there are more variables than goals, and more goals than variables.

More variables than goals:
  • Lunar transfer with three maneuver components and two B-plane goals
  • Vary three manevuer components to achieve desired apogee value

More goals than variables (these aren't often physical cases but the system allows it)
  • Not sure yet

GMAT forum is prepared by handling the problems of the non-square differential equations so that there is no problem. In my view ukessay you can find the solutions of the differential equations in the future.
