Impulsive Burn Work Items

Postby space_egd » Tue Jun 16, 2009 4:42 pm

Below is a list of work items that should be performed to test the Impulsive burn functionality:
  • Update the Wiki users guide to contain all new fields and their ranges and screen captures:
    • Update Impulsive Burn Object wiki
  • Write/update GUI panel tests for all panels/tabs and perform the tests
    • Impulsive Burn Object
  • Write acceptance test scripts, generate truth data, and perform the tests
    • Test that when IBurn is configured using one of the default Local Coordinate Systems the burn is applied in the correct direction
    • Test that when IBurn is configured using a user defined Coordinate Systems the burn is applied in the correct direction
    • Test that using several combinations of the Element1, Element2, and Element3 function correctly
    • Test "decrement mass" function is depleting FuelMass
    • Test different values of Gravitational Acceleration
    • Generate at least an Earth, Mars, Sun, Moon, and a user defined celestial body centered tests based on the aforementioned tests
    • Generate truth data for the aforementioned tests in FF. Tests that can not be created in FF will be created in STK.
  • Write system test scripts, generate truth data, and perform the tests
    • Test local coordinate system against user created coordinate system of same definition. (VNB, MJ2000Eq, LVLH, SpacecraftBody?)
    • Pull select group of Acceptance test scripts, convert to SystemTest scripts, and generate Function/Nested Function counterparts
  • Write validation tests and perform tests
  • Update the test matrix with new functionality and show coverage of new tests
  • Update test plans with descriptions of new tests
