Using GMAT for specific types of missions.

Docking of Spacecraft

Dear all,

I'm currently investigating whether to use GMAT for mission analysis of spacecraft formation-flying including a final approach with a docking. That would mean to treat two spacecraft objects after a certain event as one spacecraft with different mass properties.

After the docking the mission shall continue with the new attached spacecraft mass for tugging scenarios. Is changing the spacecraft properties and number of spacecraft during a mission possible? Do you see any problems w.r.t. this scenario and using GMAT?

Thank you and very best,

You may even require to believe the growth of the space explorers inside the ship itself much like you require to get weigh while receiving on a little plane. Read more at Online Essay Help -
